Dr. Dan Hammond is a native Missourian and a 1997 graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. He has practiced solely in Texas since graduation and jokes that “he got here as quick as he could”. Professionally he enjoys surgery but his greatest satisfaction comes from building relationships and strengthening the bonds between people and their pets. He is active in his local church and his hobbies include woodworking, ranching and spending time outdoors. He and his wife Rhonda have 4 children, and live on a small ranch in the Hunt County area.
I have been in the veterinary field since I joined Forney Animal Hospital in 1999. I took a few years off after 2005 to be a stay at home mom with my two children (Cameron & Caden), but returned in 2009. I am originally from New Orleans, but made my way to Texas in 1999. I enjoy jogging with my 11 year old Jack Russell Terrier and playing softball.
I have been in the grooming profession more than 20 years and have spent more than 10 years on staff at Forney Animal Hospital as a veterinary technician and groomer. I enjoy curling up on the coach with my 7 year old boxer, Zeus, and watching mystery movies. Being apart of Forney Animal Hospital allows me to spend valuable time with the animals I love!
I enjoy working at Forney Animal Hospital and I have been apart of the staff since 2010. I am currently working as a Veterinary Technician and I have also had experience as a Kennel Technician. I love singing, art, and working in my garden. I also enjoy spending time with my family and my two dogs Molly and Samson.
I have been in the veterinary field for several years and a part of the Forney Animal Hospital family since May of 2008. I really love contributing to the professionalism and patient care that this hospital strives for. I am married to my wonderful husband Tyler and am the proud mother of two dogs (Bob and Diesel) and two cats (Little Bit and Rachel). I am also currently studying at Texas A&M Commerce and scheduled to complete my MBA and Bachelors in Professional Accounting in 2012.
I joined Forney Animal Hospital in 2007 as a Kennel Technician. I consider every dog or cat I care for as a granddog or grandcat and I treat them as such. I love seeing all my grandbabies periodically and I enjoy spending my days caring for them. I also spend a great deal of time with my husband and our human grandkids during my time off.
"Find a job you love and you will never work a day in your life!" As a child I wanted to be a hair stylist, but my passion was for animals. By being a Pet Stylist I have the best of both worlds! I have been apart of the Forney Animal Hospital family since July 2010. I have three dogs named Rainey, Tootie, and Marlee.
I was fostering Gracie for the Humane Society of Cedar Creek Lake, but, I think I decided in the car on the way home from the shelter that she would be mine. She is an absolute sweetheart.
